Philip Burgess

Professor Burgess is Professor of Mental Health Services Research in the School of Population Health at The University of Queensland. Since 2003, he has led the Analysis and Reporting functions of the Australian Mental Health Outcomes and Classification Network (AMHOCN).  He has worked extensively with national data collections including the design of the service utilisation modules of the 1997 and 2007 surveys of mental health and wellbeing. He has considerable experience with national minimum data sets that support mental health services reform. Professor Burgess will contribute expertise to the design, analysis and evaluation of service planning models developed by the CRE team.
